Nominative case (Subject of the sentence) in Mongolian language - Suffix to add: –Ø (none) | Learn Mongolian Language

The grammatical case "nominative" indicate that a noun or pronoun is the subject of a sentence (subject of a verb). It often begins the sentence and it’s in the nominative case that we find the words in the dictionary. Therefore, it is the uninflected form of the noun. It is also called subjective case. (ex: Ном → book).

a) Миний найз өндөр - My friend is tall.

b) Би нүүдэлчин - I am a nomad.

c) Энэ мах сайн байна аа! - This meat is good!

d) Тэр өчигдөр энд байсан! - He / She was here yesterday.

e) Энэ хүн Францаас ирсэн - This person comes from France.

f) Цаг агаар салхитай - The weather is windy (with the wind)

g) Ta өнөөдөр манайд очоорой! - (You) Come to my place today
